Previously on Looking Ahead...

On the first part of Looking Ahead, I introduced to you the first five things that I want to do for 2013. If you noticed, all of them is about changing myself but, the truth is, I am not changing myself. I just want to improve myself because for me, 2012 was a year of testing the waters and this year, it is about finding the real me. I am such a melodramatic person!! LOL. Now let's continue the 13 things I want to do for 2013.

6. Rewards make a happy baby - Unlike others who spend all the time on what they want, I am such a wimp on buying things because I am a self-confessed "kuripot." Yes, I do not like spending when I am using my money. There is like a tiny voice in my head saying, "Don't spend. It's not worth it." I am not saying that I should spend a lot instead, I should learn to be balanced. Save money then reward yourself. It is not healthy to deprive yourself with the things you want but all out spending is also not good. It is all about balance.

7. Being a Filipino is about being aware -

I am a pro in writing news articles. I live and breathe writing news but listening and watching the news is what I hate. First of all, I do not like watching the news because it all bring negativity. Women being raped, children being killed and a whole lot of massacres. I hate it! But then, not watching the news means being unaware and it looks like I do not give a f*ck about our country. So I am promising myself to watch the news and if I do have the capability to help, I will do the best I can to be involved because the Philippines needs Filipinos who have an open mind and willingness to improve our country.

8. Be like Rapunzel - Well, not literally. I always have short hair since like forever and I guess this is the time to grow out my hair. Many girls have long hairs as their security blanket but I am quite the opposite. Short hair is my security blanket. It is like it is my brand but I am not getting any younger and it is time to try something new so I vow not to cut my hair. If you see any tweet regarding cutting hair, feel free to stop me.

9. Pop the bubble -

I am enclosed in a bubble which goes from laguna up to taft avenue. It is my comfort zone but I want to try something new. It can be eating an exotic food (frog legs anyone?) going out of town or just being spontaneous and being crazy. I am all about control so it is good once in awhile to let go of the reins and let loose. So, anybody who wants to accompany me?

*Nine down, four to go!! It's almost over so hang on to your seat and wait for the last part of Looking Ahead. If you started it, finish it! :D
